Wilson will no longer be QB2 for Big Blue
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — A change at head coach won’t be the only big change for Big Blue this week. The Giants will have a change at quarterback for the first time since Week 3.
With starter Jaxson Dart uncertain to play against the Packers after the hit he took Sunday vs. The Bears leading to a concussion, the Giants had a decision to make on the depth chart.
Instead of playing Russell Wilson, who did not look good on Sunday in the fourth, the Giants are going to send Jamis Winston as QB 2, and will start Sunday if Dart does not clear concussion protocol.
In his most recent start, Winston, who was with the Cleveland Browns taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in December of 2024 he completed 16 of 25 passes (64.0%) for 146 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
More to come.
