LOS ANGELES — When sliding into second base, Jasson Dominguez injured his thumb and was removed from the game.

Aaron Boone came out in the sixth inning to talk with HP Umpire Chris Conroy saying “we’ve got an injury” and sending Bellinger out to pinch hit for Dominguez.

Jasson Domínguez left game Sunday due to a left thumb contusion.

Dominguez told reporters that he is not concerned with his thumb. He went on to say “It’s definitely feeling better right now.”

Aaron Boone said that he will get tested tomorrow when the team is back in New York.
