BREAKING: Spencer Jones promoted to AAA

SOMERSET — The Yankees announced today that Spencer Jones, a left-hand hitting center fielder and the Yankees #2 overall prospect.

After a disappointing season in 2024, Jones has been on fire to begin 2025, slashing .274/.389./983 in AA Somerset this season. Jones has also delivered some big hits, like his last hit in Somerset, a walk-off RBI single.

Jones has been compared to a lefty-swinging Aaron Judge, and is just coming off winning EAS Player of the Week for this past week, with no signs of his production stopping.
