According to Jack Curry of the YES Network, the Yankees have been told that Sasaki will not be signing with them. 3 teams understand they are out, the SF Giants, the Yankees and the Mets.

While it sucks, I never really thought he was coming here. I always thought he would be a Dodger because of Ohtani and Yamamoto, but that is a business.

The Yankees now need to focus on trading Marcus Stroman to a team like the Athletics, Marlins or Rockies who need to spend some Money for CBA reasons, as well as add another infielder.
